What should I remember to do if I move house?

Please let us know your new address as soon as possible, by telephone or e-mail.

What should I do if I change my name?

Please send:
  • your Cornèrcard (cut into several pieces);
  • a copy of a valid official document (e.g. passport, identity card, marriage/divorce certificate);
  • and your new signature
to the following address: Cornèr Bank Ltd., Cornèrcard, Via Canova 16, 6901 Lugano, Switzerland. You will then be sent your new Cornèrcard immediately.

When does my Cornèrcard expire?

Your Cornèrcard is valid until the last day of the month shown on the card. For example, if 06/14 appears on your Cornèrcard, you can use it up to and including June 30, 2014.

When will my Cornèrcard be replaced?

During the month of expiration shown on the card you will automatically receive a new Cornèrcard.

Who should I contact in an emergency (e.g. loss, suspect that card has been misused, theft or retention of card, or non-receipt of my Cornèrcard)? What if my Cornèrcard does not work?

What should I do if I find discrepancies in my monthly statement?

If your monthly statement shows transactions which you did not authorize, or other irregularities, you must immediately inform Cornèrcard by telephone (Help Line 24h: +41 (0)58 880 97 00). Confirm your report in writing, within 30 days of the statement date, to the following address: Cornèr Bank Ltd., Cornèrcard, Via Canova 16, 6901 Lugano, Switzerland.

What are the rules of use of my PIN?

You have received the PIN (Personal Identification Number) for your Cornèrcard by separate post. You can change your PIN at any time, at an automated teller machine (ATM) in Switzerland or in Liechtenstein. Select the «Change PIN» function and enter the combination of figures of your choice. Avoid easily guessable combinations such as your date of birth or telephone number. Also: do not write your PIN down or disclose it to anyone else. Whenever an expired card is replaced, your PIN remains valid for your new card.

Can I withdraw cash with Cornèrcard?

Yes, you can withdraw cash at any automated teller machine (ATM) that accepts MasterCard or Visa cards.

What are the payment terms?

The balance on your monthly statement is payable 25 days from issue date. Cornèrcard charges no interest if the total amount shown on the monthly statement is transferred promptly.

How do the revolving credit facilities work?

You can also pay the balance on your monthly statement in installments, the amount of which is at your discretion. However, you must settle a minimum amount of 5% of the outstanding balance within 25 days of the statement issue date (subject to a minimum payment of CHF 100). You will be charged monthly interest from the book entry date until you have paid the full outstanding balance. The maximum annual interest rate is 15%.
